Cambium Networks’ 60 GHz cnWave solution provides easy, fast and cost-effective wireless gigabit connectivity for edge access and/or high-capacity backhaul for edge access solutions at a significantly lower TCO than fiber infrastructure. Service providers and enterprises now have access to gigabit for business and residential connectivity, backhaul for Wi-Fi access or LTE/5G small cell. V5000 is a 60GHz Access Point unit with two sector antennas with a beam angle of 2x 140° (20° in the vertical direction), antenna gain 22.5dBi and the ability to connect 4 distribution nodes or up to 30 CPE units. The unit has a total of 2 Ethernet ports and one optical SFP+ slot. The first port supports 100M/1G and 10G speeds, including passive PoE IN 44-57V DC, and the second Gigabit port also supports PoE Out with the 802.3at standard, which is especially suitable for powering cameras. The wireless part supports two bandwidths 2160MHz and 4320MHz (future firmware), the real link speed is 7.6 Gbps (3.8 Gbps downlink, 3.8 Gbps uplink) and supports PtMP, Mesh or PTP wireless modes. The maximum power consumption of the device is 35W, in the case of using PoE Out it can be up to 60W.
